Justin Sauerwald joined Zamansky LLC in 2014. His practice is divided between representing individuals and groups of investors in FINRA securities arbitrations against brokerage firms, and representing plaintiffs in a variety of class actions involving ERISA violations and securities transactions. These cases involve misconduct such as fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, unsuitable recommendations, failure to disclose conflicts of interest and other violations of state and federal securities laws and regulations.
Mr. Sauerwald is a 2005 graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2011 graduating magna cum laude with a concentration in International Legal Practice. While in law school, Mr. Sauerwald was on the Dean’s List all semesters, served on the Senior Staff of Nova Law Review and on the Executive Board of Phi Alpha Delta, and spent a semester in Rome, Italy studying European Union law at Universitá degli Studi Roma Tre. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for Torts and Federal Civil Procedure, interned for Judge Patti Englander Henning of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, and spent a semester at Akerman Senterfitt, LLP during his Business Practice Clinic.
Mr. Sauerwald is admitted to practice law in Florida and New Jersey.
